About us

It started with one phone and a load board

Texas Solutions began as a two-person dispatch desk in Houston in 2019. Everything since has come from carriers asking for one more thing we did not yet do.

The first client was an owner-operator running a dry van who was spending three hours a night on load boards and still sitting empty on Mondays. Booking his loads was the whole business.

Within a year the work had changed shape. Carriers wanted the invoicing done, the broker packets filled in, the detention claimed. Then they wanted a website that would recruit drivers, then outbound to find shippers directly, then paid ads, then someone to test the software they had commissioned. Each service line exists because a client asked twice.

That history explains the odd-looking mix. A dispatch desk and a QA practice are not obvious neighbours, but both are back-office work that a small operator cannot staff on its own and cannot afford to get wrong.

What has not changed is the shape of the promise: a named person is accountable, the price is published, and you can leave on thirty days notice.

Timeline

How thirteen service lines came together

  1. 2019

    The dispatch desk opens

Texas Solutions starts as a two-person truck dispatch operation in Houston, working box trucks and hotshot freight.

  2. 2020

    Back office becomes the product

Carriers ask for invoicing, broker packets and detention claims as much as load booking, so the service expands to cover the whole back office.

  3. 2021

    Web and lead generation added

Carrier clients need driver recruiting pages and direct shipper outreach, and the first in-house build team is hired.

  4. 2022

    Ads and AdSense practices launch

Paid acquisition for carrier and service clients, followed by publisher revenue management as a distinct practice.

  5. 2023

    QA practice and delivery centre

An engineering and QA delivery centre opens, adding test automation and staff augmentation to the offer.

  6. 2024

    Auto engines joins the group

Fleet clients ask for sourcing help during downtime, and engine supply and installation becomes the seventh service line.

  7. 2025

    Five regions, five price tables

UK, Canada, Australia and Europe get their own authored pricing rather than converted US figures.

  8. 2026

    One platform, thirteen services

The group consolidates onto a single site, a single estimate calculator and one account contact per client.

Leadership

Who is accountable for what

Roles are listed with the person who holds them where we have permission to publish a name. The rest are named once headshots and bios are signed off.

We do not publish stock photography with invented names against it. Real headshots and bios replace these cards before launch.

Values

Six things we hold to

Say the number

Ranges, break-even figures and what a fee applies to, published before anyone asks. Pricing that only appears after a discovery call usually appears higher.

Own your own things

Your repositories, ad accounts, design files and test suites stay in your name. Leaving should be possible, even if it is not the plan.

Fix measurement first

Optimising against wrong numbers just arrives at the wrong place faster. We audit before we change anything.

Name the person

A named dispatcher, a named engineer, a named account contact. Not a rotating pool behind a shared inbox.

Flag the uncertainty

Where a figure is derived rather than measured, we say so on the page. Where a claim needs a lawyer, we say that too.

Finish the handover

Documentation, training and a maintenance guide are part of delivery, not an upsell after it.

Certifications and partners

An interactive office map is added once photography and exact suite numbers are confirmed. We would rather show an accurate list than an imprecise pin.

Corporate responsibility

Four commitments with a budget attached

Each of these has a line in the annual plan rather than a paragraph on a website.

Driver wellbeing fund

A share of dispatch revenue funds rest-stop meal cards and roadside assistance for owner-operators on our desk who break down away from home.

Apprentice testers

Six QA apprenticeships a year at the delivery centre, paid from day one, with a route into a permanent role.

Core recycling

Every returned engine core goes to a remanufacturer or a certified recycler. None are scrapped to landfill.

Pro bono builds

Two websites a year for local non-profits, built to the same standard as paid work, including maintenance.
