Look inside

The desk never actually closes

Dispatch runs around the clock across Houston and Lahore, which shapes how the whole company works. This page shows the parts a sales call never covers.

Life at Texas Solutions

Four things that define working here

The desk never closes

Dispatch runs 24/7 across Houston and Lahore, so a driver who breaks down at 3am talks to a person rather than a voicemail.

Named ownership

Every client has a named contact on every service. Nobody hides behind a shared inbox, which cuts both ways and keeps standards up.

Documentation is the job

Runbooks, handover guides and maintenance docs are written during the work, not promised after it.

Apprenticeships that pay

Six paid QA apprenticeships a year, with a defined route into a permanent engineering role.

Team photography and the day-on-dispatch video are added once we have signed releases from everyone who appears in them. Until then this page is written rather than shot.

A day on dispatch

From the 4:30am board sweep to overnight handover

This is the real rhythm of the desk, in Central Time, as the Houston team runs it.

  1. 04:30 CT

    Board sweep

The desk opens on the boards before brokers do, marking the loads worth calling on once phones start answering.

  2. 06:00 CT

    Driver check-in

Every truck confirms it rolled, hours available and any overnight issues. Anything unresolved goes to the top of the list.

  3. 08:30 CT

    Negotiation window

The busiest two hours. Rates argued, loads covered, and the ones that will not move get walked away from.

  4. 12:00 CT

    Paperwork block

Broker setups filed, packets completed, and the morning deliveries invoiced with the full document pack.

  5. 15:00 CT

    Tomorrow booked

Next loads confirmed so nobody starts the day empty. Home time checked against the plan.

  6. 18:00 CT

    Claims and handover

Detention logged and filed, then a written handover to the overnight desk in Lahore.

Culture and values

What we argue about in reviews

Say the number

Ranges, break-even figures and what a fee applies to, published before anyone asks. Pricing that only appears after a discovery call usually appears higher.

Own your own things

Your repositories, ad accounts, design files and test suites stay in your name. Leaving should be possible, even if it is not the plan.

Fix measurement first

Optimising against wrong numbers just arrives at the wrong place faster. We audit before we change anything.

Name the person

A named dispatcher, a named engineer, a named account contact. Not a rotating pool behind a shared inbox.

Flag the uncertainty

Where a figure is derived rather than measured, we say so on the page. Where a claim needs a lawyer, we say that too.

Finish the handover

Documentation, training and a maintenance guide are part of delivery, not an upsell after it.
