About Texas Solutions
Go to pageWhat does Texas Solutions do?
Texas Solutions is a software development and technology services company. It builds custom software, web applications, SaaS platforms and mobile apps; develops AI and machine learning solutions; provides QA and software testing; supplies dedicated development teams; and runs cloud, data, CRM and ERP, and cybersecurity projects. It also operates a truck dispatch service for US and Canadian carriers.
Where is Texas Solutions based?
Texas Solutions LLC is headquartered in Houston, Texas, with client teams in London, Toronto and Sydney and an engineering, QA and overnight dispatch delivery centre in Lahore.
Which countries does Texas Solutions work with?
Tier 1 markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Western Europe; the Gulf including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman; and Asia including Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Malaysia.
Is Texas Solutions a good choice for outsourcing software development?
It suits companies that want senior engineers, published pricing, working-hours overlap and full ownership of their code. Every project has a named delivery lead, automated testing from the first sprint and a 30-day notice period rather than a long lock-in.
Can we use one service without buying the others?
Yes. Every service line stands on its own with its own agreement. Clients who use several get one account contact across all of them, but nothing is bundled by force.
How does the region switcher affect pricing?
Each region has its own authored price table. Switching regions changes which table is read; it never converts currency live, because a converted figure would imply a precision we do not have.
Is the estimate calculator a quote?
No. It returns a rough range from the answers you give, using the same published tables as the pricing page. Final pricing is confirmed after a consultation.
What are your contract terms?
Thirty days notice on every recurring service, in either direction, with no termination fee. Project work is governed by the written scope and its acceptance criteria.
Who owns the work you produce?
You do. Repositories, design files, ad accounts, test suites and creative all sit in your name from day one, and handover within five days is part of the exit process.
Where are your teams based?
Houston, London, Toronto, Sydney and Lahore. Dispatch runs across Houston and Lahore so the desk is covered around the clock.
How quickly can you start?
Dispatch onboarding takes about three days. Marketing retainers start within a week. Build projects start at the next available sprint boundary, usually inside two weeks.
Do you work with small businesses or only enterprises?
Both. A single owner-operator and a sixty-person engineering team are both normal clients here, and the published ranges show where each service starts.
Custom Software, Web and App Development
Go to pageWhat is the difference between custom software and off-the-shelf software?
Off-the-shelf software is built for many companies and configured to fit. Custom software is built around one company’s processes, integrates with its existing systems and is owned outright. It costs more up front but removes licence fees and workarounds over time.
Which technologies do you use for web and app development?
Mostly React, Next.js and TypeScript on the front end; Node.js, .NET, Python and Go on the back end; React Native and Flutter for mobile; PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis for data; and AWS, Azure or Google Cloud for hosting. We stay in your existing stack where one exists.
Do you build SaaS products from scratch?
Yes. We build multi-tenant SaaS platforms with authentication, roles and permissions, subscription billing through Stripe or Paddle, audit logging, usage analytics and an admin console, delivered in phased releases so you can sell before everything is finished.
Can you work with clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Singapore?
Yes. Our Lahore delivery centre is one hour behind Dubai and three hours behind Singapore, so there is a full working-day overlap. We account for UAE and Saudi PDPL and Singapore PDPA data rules and can host in-region on AWS or Azure.
Do you sign NDAs and assign intellectual property?
Yes. We sign your NDA before discovery, and our contract assigns all intellectual property in the deliverables to you on payment. Repositories and cloud accounts sit in your organisation from the start.
Who owns the code and the design files?
You do, from day one. The repository sits in your GitHub organisation and the Figma library is shared to your account. There is no licence to keep paying and nothing is locked to us.
Can our marketing team edit the site without a developer?
Yes. Every block on every page is modelled in the CMS with preview and draft workflow. Editor training is part of handover and the maintenance guide covers the rest.
How do you hit Lighthouse 90+ with this much animation?
We animate only transform and opacity, lazy-load anything below the fold, keep the motion bundle under roughly 80 KB gzipped and set a performance budget that fails the build when it is exceeded.
What happens to our search rankings during a redesign?
We map every existing URL, preserve the pages that rank, redirect what moves and monitor positions for ninety days after launch. Ranking loss during migration is a planning failure, not an inevitability.
Do you work with our existing developers?
Often. We can deliver a design system and component library that your team builds on, or embed alongside them for a defined stretch.
Quality Assurance and Testing
Go to pageWhich test automation framework is best in 2026?
Playwright is our default for new web projects because it is fast, reliable across Chromium, Firefox and WebKit, and has strong tooling. Cypress suits teams already invested in it, and Selenium remains useful for legacy suites and wide browser grids. We build in whatever your team already maintains.
Can your QA engineers join our sprints?
Yes. With QA staff augmentation, named testers join your standups, work your Jira board and use your tools. They can ramp up for a release and back down afterwards with thirty days notice.
Do you do penetration testing?
We test application security against the OWASP Top 10 as part of QA. Formal penetration tests with a certificate for compliance are run through accredited partners and coordinated by our cybersecurity team.
How quickly can you start testing?
A test strategy and first manual regression run usually start within one to two weeks. The automation framework is typically running in your CI within three to six weeks.
Which automation framework do you use?
Playwright for most new work because of its speed and reliability. We also work in Cypress and Selenium, and will stay in whatever your team already maintains rather than forcing a migration.
Do we keep the test suite?
Yes. It lives in your repository, uses your CI and is documented at handover. There is nothing proprietary to keep paying for.
How do you measure coverage?
By user journey rather than by code line. Line coverage can be high while the checkout still breaks. We report which critical paths are automated, which are manual and which are untested.
Is your security testing a penetration test?
No. We test the OWASP Top 10 application risks and report severity-rated findings. A formal penetration test with a certificate for compliance purposes needs an accredited provider, and we will say so rather than imply otherwise.
Can your testers work in our sprints?
Yes, that is what the staff augmentation option is. Named engineers join your standups, work your board and use your tooling, and can ramp up or down as the roadmap changes.
Lead Generation
Go to pageHow much does B2B lead generation cost?
Retainers typically run US$2,500 to US$15,000 a month in the US. Per qualified lead pricing runs about US$150 to US$600, and per booked appointment US$300 to US$900.
What counts as a qualified lead?
Whatever we agree in writing before launch, usually a combination of company size, sector, geography, role seniority and a stated need. If a lead does not meet the criteria, it does not get billed.
Will cold email damage our domain reputation?
Not if it is done properly. We send from dedicated domains that are separate from your main one, authenticate them with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, warm them for several weeks and ramp volume only while deliverability holds.
How long before we see meetings?
Domain warming takes two to three weeks, so the first meetings usually land in week four or five. Meaningful volume data arrives around week eight.
Do you work per lead or on a retainer?
Most accounts start on a retainer because it lets us invest in deliverability and testing. Once volume and quality are proven, we can move to per qualified lead or per booked appointment.
Are you compliant with GDPR and CAN-SPAM?
Yes. B2B outreach in the UK and EU runs on legitimate interest with clear opt-out, records of the basis for contact and honoured suppression lists. US sending follows CAN-SPAM identification and opt-out rules.
Auto Engines
Go to pageHow much does an engine replacement cost?
In the US, a used engine supplied and installed typically costs US$2,600 to US$4,500, a remanufactured engine US$4,000 to US$6,500, and a truck or European engine US$6,000 to US$12,000.
How do you verify a used engine before it ships?
We confirm the VIN, engine code and casting number, check the emissions region matches your vehicle, and obtain compression and leak-down figures plus photographs. You see all of it before anything is dispatched.
What does the warranty actually cover?
Parts-only cover replaces the unit; parts-plus-labour also covers the install cost of doing so. Both need the engine registered at installation and the service interval kept. We put the exclusions in writing before you buy.
What is a core charge?
A deposit on your old engine, refunded when it is returned in a rebuildable condition. We arrange collection, document its condition and clear the charge, so it does not appear as a surprise invoice later.
Do you install, or only supply?
Both. Installation runs through vetted partner shops with the labour quoted before work starts, and we stay the single point of contact for the whole job.
Can you source European and heavy-duty diesel engines?
Yes. Those go through our wider sourcing network and are quoted per vehicle, since availability and landed cost vary too much for a published range to be honest.
AI and Machine Learning
Go to pageWhat is RAG and why does it matter for enterprise AI?
Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) lets a language model answer from your own documents instead of only its training data. It reduces made-up answers, keeps information current and lets every answer cite its source, which is why most enterprise chatbots and assistants are built this way.
What is the difference between an AI chatbot and an AI agent?
A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent takes actions across several steps, such as reading a request, looking up data in your CRM, drafting a quote and submitting it for approval. Agents need scoped permissions, approvals and audit logs, which is why they cost more to build.
Which AI models do you work with?
Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT models, Google Gemini, Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock, plus open-source models such as Llama and Mistral when data must stay on your own infrastructure. We choose by measured quality and cost on your evaluation set.
How long does an AI project take?
A discovery and pilot phase takes three to six weeks. A production assistant or generative AI workflow takes two to four months, and a custom machine learning model three to six months, mostly depending on how ready the data is.
Do you build Arabic-language AI assistants for the Gulf?
Yes. Current models handle Arabic and English well, and we evaluate on Arabic examples from your own content before launch. Assistants can switch language per conversation and cite Arabic or English sources.
Will our data be used to train someone else’s model?
No. We use enterprise API terms where providers contractually do not train on your data, and we can deploy inside your own cloud account when that is required.
How do you know the AI is right?
Every project gets an evaluation set built from your real examples. We report accuracy against it before launch and track it monthly after, so quality is a number rather than an impression.
Which model do you use?
Whichever meets the quality bar at the lowest cost and risk for the task. We compare several on your evaluation set and explain the choice.
What does it cost to run once it is built?
We model cost per task at your real volume before launch and set budgets and alerts. For most assistants the running cost is a small fraction of the time saved.
Data and Analytics
Go to pagePower BI or Tableau?
Power BI is usually the better value for Microsoft-centric organisations; Tableau suits complex visual analysis and existing Tableau estates. We work in both.
Do we need a data warehouse?
Once you have more than two or three data sources or need reliable history, usually yes. Below that, a well-modelled dataset directly on the sources can be enough.
Power BI or Tableau?
Power BI if you are already on Microsoft 365, Tableau if you have complex visual analysis needs or an existing licence. We work in both and will recommend on cost and fit.
Do we need a data warehouse?
Once you have more than two or three sources, or need history, usually yes. Below that, a well-built model directly on the sources can be enough and we will say so.
Who owns the data platform?
You do. It is built in your cloud account, with your credentials, and fully documented.
How do you keep the numbers right?
Automated data quality tests run on every refresh and alert before bad data reaches a dashboard. Key figures are reconciled against finance during the build.
Cloud and DevOps
Go to pageAWS or Azure: which should we choose?
Azure suits organisations built on Microsoft 365 and Active Directory; AWS offers the broadest service catalogue for most SaaS workloads. We recommend on cost, skills and compliance fit.
Will a cloud migration cause downtime?
Cutovers are rehearsed and scheduled in low-traffic windows, usually with minutes of downtime, and every migration wave has a rollback plan.
AWS or Azure?
Azure if you are deep in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, AWS for breadth of services and most SaaS workloads. We are certified in both and will recommend on cost and fit.
Will there be downtime during migration?
Cutovers are rehearsed and scheduled in low-traffic windows. Most workloads move with minutes of downtime, and every wave has a rollback plan.
Can you take over infrastructure someone else built?
Yes. We start with an audit, document what exists, fix the urgent risks and then bring it under infrastructure as code.
How do you keep cloud costs down?
Tagging so every resource has an owner, rightsizing, committed capacity where usage is steady, and a monthly review of what changed and why.
CRM and ERP
Go to pageSalesforce, Dynamics 365 or Odoo?
Salesforce suits sales-led organisations with complex pipelines, Dynamics 365 suits Microsoft-centric businesses, and Odoo or Business Central are strong, cost-effective ERP choices for small and mid-sized companies.
Do you support Arabic and multi-currency ERP for the Gulf?
Yes. Odoo, Dynamics 365 and Business Central support Arabic, right-to-left layouts, multi-currency and VAT for the UAE and Saudi Arabia, including ZATCA e-invoicing requirements in Saudi Arabia.
Salesforce, Dynamics or Odoo?
Salesforce for sales-led organisations with complex pipelines, Dynamics 365 for Microsoft-centric businesses, Odoo or Business Central for cost-effective mid-market ERP. We recommend based on your processes and budget, not a partner quota.
Why does ERP cost so much?
Most of the cost is process mapping, data migration and training, not software. Implementations for midsized companies typically range from tens of thousands to around a million, excluding licences, depending on scope.
Can you fix a CRM nobody uses?
Often, yes. We interview the users, simplify the pipeline, remove fields nobody fills in and automate the data entry that made it a chore.
Who owns the licences?
You do. Licences are bought in your name, and all configuration and custom code is documented and handed over.
Cybersecurity
Go to pageDo you issue penetration test certificates?
Certified penetration tests are delivered by accredited partners, with scoping, remediation and retesting managed by us.
How long does SOC 2 readiness take?
Typically two to four months to be ready for a SOC 2 Type I audit, depending on how many controls already exist.
Do you issue penetration test certificates?
Formal certified tests are delivered through accredited partners, with scoping, triage, remediation and retesting managed by us. We will not present our own review as an accredited certificate.
Can you get us SOC 2 certified?
We prepare you for it: gap analysis, policies, controls and evidence. The report itself is issued by an independent CPA firm, which we help you select and work with.
We are small. Is this overkill?
A two-week assessment is usually enough for smaller companies, and it answers most customer questionnaires. We size the work to your risk and your customers’ demands.
How do you handle what you find?
Findings are shared only with named contacts, stored encrypted and deleted at the end of the engagement unless you ask us to keep them.
Dedicated Teams
Go to pageHow fast can a dedicated developer start?
Usually within one to two weeks: a shortlist in three to seven days, your interviews, then onboarding. A full squad of four to six engineers typically takes three to four weeks.
Which time zones do your developers cover?
Core hours overlap with the UK and Europe, the Gulf and Asia. For US clients we guarantee at least four hours of overlap, and full US hours are available at a small premium.
Who owns the code a dedicated team writes?
You do. Intellectual property is assigned to you in the contract and all code is committed to your repositories.
Can we scale the team up or down?
Yes, with thirty days notice. Most clients start with two or three engineers and grow once velocity and quality are proven.
Do we get to interview the engineers?
Always. We share a shortlist, you interview and choose, and nobody joins your team without your approval.
What if an engineer is not working out?
Tell us and we replace them at no cost, with a handover period so knowledge is not lost.
How much overlap with our working hours?
At least four hours of overlap with your core hours is standard. Full overlap is available for US, UK and EU time zones at a small premium.
Who owns the code?
You do. IP assignment is in the contract, and everything is committed to your repositories.
Truck Dispatch
Go to pageDo I need my own MC and DOT number to use a dispatch service?
Yes. A dispatch service books freight under your own operating authority. We help with broker setups using your MC number, insurance certificate and W-9, and every setup stays in your carrier name.
Is a truck dispatcher worth it for an owner-operator?
For most owner-operators, yes, if the dispatcher raises weekly gross, cuts deadhead and recovers detention by more than the fee. Our sample owner-operator profile moved from about US$4,900 to US$7,150 weekly gross after three months.
Can you dispatch in Canada?
Yes, for Canadian carriers running cross-border and domestic lanes from our Toronto team, alongside US dispatch from Houston.
What hours is the dispatch desk staffed?
Weekday coverage is standard. Evening, weekend and full 24/7 coverage is available as an add-on, staffed across Houston and our overnight team.
How much does truck dispatch cost?
Semi trucks (dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, power only) pay 5-6% of weekly gross, and small trucks (box truck, straight truck, hotshot) pay 8-10%, for OTR operations. On a semi grossing $8,000-$10,000 a week that is about $400-$600 a week. The final percentage is discussed with each carrier.
Is there a flat weekly fee?
No. We charge a percentage of weekly gross only. There is no flat rate, no setup fee and no monthly subscription. Local and regional work is quoted separately.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Thirty days notice, either direction, no termination fee. If the service is not earning its fee you should be able to leave.
Why do small trucks pay a higher percentage than semis?
Box truck and hotshot loads are smaller and more frequent, so each truck needs more calls, broker setups and paperwork per dollar of gross. That is why small trucks are 8-10% and semis 5-6%.
Do you handle my invoicing and factoring?
Yes. We assemble the rate confirmation, bill of lading and proof of delivery and submit the same day the load delivers, either to your factor or direct to the broker, then follow up until it pays.
Can I keep my own broker relationships?
Absolutely. We work your existing brokers alongside ours, and every setup we file is in your carrier name, not ours.
Ads Optimization and Design
Go to pageHow much does PPC management cost?
Typically US$500 to US$3,000 a month, or 10% to 20% of ad spend. Setup and tracking is usually a one-time US$500 to US$2,000.
Do you charge a flat fee or a percentage of spend?
Either. Flat monthly fees suit accounts with steady budgets; 10 to 20 percent of ad spend suits accounts that scale seasonally. We recommend whichever costs you less at your current spend.
Who owns the ad accounts?
You do. We work inside your accounts with delegated access. If we part ways, you keep every campaign, audience and piece of creative.
How quickly will cost per acquisition come down?
Tracking fixes show up within days. Structural changes need two to four weeks of data. Creative-driven gains usually land in month two or three once enough variants have been tested.
What is the minimum ad spend you work with?
Around $3,000 a month per platform. Below that there is not enough data to optimise on and the management fee eats too much of the budget.
Can you work with our in-house designer?
Yes. We can supply concepts and angles for your team to produce, or produce everything ourselves, whichever is faster for you.
Google AdSense Revenue Management
Go to pageHow can I increase my AdSense RPM?
Audit policy risk first, instrument revenue per ad unit, remove low-earning units that cause layout shift, reserve ad slot space, and test placement changes against a held-back control group.
Will you get our AdSense account approved?
We audit against the publisher policies before applying and fix what would cause a rejection. We cannot guarantee approval because Google makes that decision, but a pre-application audit removes the common causes.
Does adding more ad units increase revenue?
Usually not past a point. More units lower the value of each impression, hurt Core Web Vitals and push readers away, which cuts sessions. We optimise revenue per session, which often means fewer units.
How is your fee calculated?
Either a flat monthly fee per site, or 15 to 30 percent of the revenue uplift above your trailing three-month baseline. The baseline is agreed in writing before we start.
What happens if we get a policy strike?
We audit the flagged content, write the remediation, make the fixes and support the appeal. Ongoing monitoring is included so new content is checked before it becomes a problem.
Is this pricing a market benchmark?
No. It is our own rate card. No public pricing survey exists for AdSense revenue management, and we would rather say so than imply a benchmark that does not exist.
Working with us by country
Go to pageIs Texas Solutions a US company?
Yes. Texas Solutions LLC is headquartered in Houston, Texas, with client teams in London, Toronto and Sydney and an engineering and QA delivery centre in Lahore.
How much does custom software development cost in the US?
Published US ranges run from US$3,000 to US$10,000 for a business website, US$30,000 to US$150,000 for a web application and US$25,000 to US$60,000 for a mobile app MVP. Our calculator gives a range for your specific scope.
Do your developers work US hours?
Every engagement guarantees at least four hours of overlap with US Eastern or Central time, and full US-hours coverage is available.
How much do software developers cost in the UK compared with outsourcing?
UK developer rates run about £50 to £75 an hour, and £80 to £180 at London agencies. Dedicated engineers through us start from roughly £4,400 a month for mid-level engineers.
Is outsourcing software development UK GDPR compliant?
Yes, when transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards, which we provide, together with encryption and least-privilege access.
Do you host data inside the EU?
Yes. By default we deploy to EU regions such as Frankfurt, Ireland, Amsterdam or Stockholm on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
Does the EU AI Act affect AI projects you build?
It can. We classify each AI system by risk under the Act, document training data and evaluation, and add human oversight where the Act requires it.
Can data be hosted in Canada?
Yes. AWS, Azure and Google Cloud all operate Canadian regions, and we deploy there when PIPEDA, provincial rules or contracts require it.
How much does app development cost in Australia?
Published Australian ranges run from about A$40,000 to A$90,000 for a mobile app MVP and A$80,000 to A$200,000 for a mid-complexity app. Our calculator shows AUD ranges for your scope.
How much does software development cost in Dubai and the UAE?
Our Gulf price table is in USD: a web application typically costs US$30,000 to US$150,000, a mobile app MVP US$25,000 to US$60,000, and dedicated mid-level engineers about US$5,500 to US$8,500 a month. The calculator gives a range for your scope.
Do you build Arabic mobile apps and websites?
Yes. We design right-to-left Arabic interfaces alongside English, handle Arabic typography and search, and test both languages on real devices.
Can you keep data inside the UAE or Saudi Arabia?
Yes. We deploy to in-region cloud where available and design data flows to meet UAE PDPL, Saudi PDPL and sector regulator requirements.
Do you work with Saudi Vision 2030 and UAE digital transformation projects?
We build the software, AI and QA capacity those programmes need, including portals, mobile apps, AI assistants and test automation, with bilingual delivery and local integrations.
How much does it cost to hire developers for a Singapore company through you?
Our Asia table is in USD: mid-level dedicated engineers are about US$5,000 to US$7,700 a month and senior engineers about US$7,700 to US$11,700.
Do you work with Japanese companies?
Yes, with English-language delivery and Japan-region hosting. We account for APPI requirements on cross-border data transfer.
